That's what I thought. To me it suggests "Greens" or "Countryside Alliance", not "Conservatives." But I've just been to the Tories' website and apparently that's their new logo:

Question just occurred to me, don't know why but I think it's one of those unanswerables - why do we say 'Conservatives', 'Liberals' or 'Greens' but 'Labour' is always singular?

Because although there are hundreds of Labour MPs, only one of them is actually working at any given time?
