I have a 39 yr old panal beater/sprayer you can borrow as of next week.... he will turn his hand to ANYTHING... did all our flooring/electrics/decorating/ took wall down puts up steel work... he can do anything he is amazing... but I'm not lending him to any of you ladies...

Me... I'm a nurse so I don't think my skills woulsd be very useful... though I make a bloody good cup of tea and am available to do CPR at short notice

ps, forgot to say I bake wedding cakes, make very traditional, black as your hat christmas puddings, can pickle anything that moves and ADORE catering large functions... (like barbeques for 97 people last night and wedding receptions for 150)

Does sound like a good idea Ast - kind of like 'keep it local' only more like 'support your fellow immigrant' Might even work it up into a little website for you so people can enter their job details and location and peeps can check it before reaching for the yellow pages.
