We did a reccie trip a couple of weeks ago - seems like forever ago now!
We had a look up at Pacific Pines and Coomera but wasnt close enough to beach for OH who i think has the same ideas as yours about me working while he surfs!!!!!!
We are now looking around Robina which seems quite central and not too far from beaches and good shopping!!!
Yeh we applied for a visa in August, havent done meds or anything yet though just gonna wait until they are requested! Im so inpatient though - hate waiting!!
Have you applied for yours..??

sorry for the late reply not been on much over xmas. hope you and your family had a good xmas.
we have applied for visas in Oct. so we know it will be some time yet.
we cant go until Oct of 09 as i am in my last year of training to be a midwife so we will move when i qualify although it will be on Russes visa.
i have been looking at the Gold Coast hospital but we felt with Pacific pines it would still be close enough if i needed to move to the mater or womans in brisbane.
what did you think about pacific pines.
