Its more common to see "excellent communication skills" I suspect this often amounts to the same thing.

Now if only Telstra would put that in their job descriptions. Might have the made the painful hour long conversation I had with them the other day slightly more bearable. Oh and I use the term conversation loosely. I couldn't understand 50% of what the guy was saying.

My mate was refused a job because of his geordie accent. The firm even told the recruitment agency that they would struggle to understand him.

I can understand it if he was customer facing, but it was for a forklift driver/warehouse worker

"Forklift worker" in a geordie accent does sound like an offensive remark though
