Well good lord, I nearly fell off my chair. I got the job! Induction on Thursday night - woop woop! Which is amusiing in so far as Thursday was the one night that I said I would have trouble working! OH will just have to miss indoor cricket this week or something!
Woohoooo! It's a start! They only guarantee 6 hours a week, but frankly that is better than $5.13 a fortnight that centrestink pay. Mind you, I think the work will physically kill me - literally, but that is a problem to worry about next week

Thanks again to everyone for all the positive vibes and good wishes that have been sent. I genuinely believe that all this karma and good vibes made a real difference to the outcome - but then I am not noted for my sanity
I'm absolutely shattered tonight and I would only be just about due to start work on a weeknight - I'm an early to bed, early to rise sort of person too, this job really is totally alien to me. But it's a job and it's mine!
