So do I, but I prefer eating the "real" jelly rather than the crystals. Eating hunks of pineapple jelly straight from the pcket is just heavenly :)

I thought I was the only one who did that!

Has to be peach for me - although I don't know if you can get peach flavour over here. We used to buy Jell-O brand.

I think this thread is a trifle childish. The thread police should take Lord Farquar into custardy immediately.......

No! It's the crystals out of the packet that I like.

Yes, I'm a weirdo. We used to have something in Canada called Dream Whip that I liked to eat straight out of the packet too. It was this powdery stuff that when you added milk and whipped it became whipped cream kind of stuff.

Re: Jelly

We used to make the cream and then mix it in to the cold jelly before it set.It was like a mousse. We thought we were very posh and clever.:D

Re: Jelly

Just making up some lime jelly now and I can attest that the crystals do taste good, probably because the main ingredient is sugar.

So, as the main ingredient is sugar, I thought I'd also try an experiment and make a cup of coffee, replacing the sugar with jelly crystals.... Don't try this yourselves, folks - the results aren't exactly great....
