And isnt it sad breast screening isnt done as routinely as cervical screening.... :(

Always sad for such a young person to lose their life....

Seconded. I'm also thinking of every family who have lost a mother to cancer today.

Thank God this family have the support of the whole country.

Lets make a note in our diaries ladies those of us that are over 35, that a mammogram and scan done every two years really could save our lives, such a lovely lady who had so much to live for.

I had my first one done last year and while it wasn't the nicest way to spend a morning it did give me peace of mind, I was recommended by my doctor to have it done every two years after the age of 35 along with the regular self checks we all do and no I don't have any family history of breast cancer just a great desire to live to see my great grandchildren.
