It snowed for about 5 minutes in Wigan this afternoon. Sky is clear right now though - it will be a cold one again tonight!

I used to live in Flitwick about 10 years ago, I got married in Ampthill and had my wedding reception at Flitwick Manor. Probably wouldnt recognise the place these days.

If it is any consolation guys those of you heading to Perth its pissing down today and is quite cold for this time of year.

Haha - my uncle was the vicar at the church in Ampthill during the 1970s, before he moved to Wheathampstead. Always struck me as a really odd sort of place kind of marooned next to the A1.

Blimey - that is early.

Overcast and 21 here - 29 and sunny forecast for tommorow though. :lol:

It snowed here last week. Snow in the Blue Mountains and sleet in North Sydney - I got caught in it and my brolly will never be the same again. Pouring down at the moment. :(

Hopefully you'll have an early winter so by the time we visit in May it will be lovely and hot :thumbup:

Doubt it's changed that much. I use to live in Stewartby (moved there 15 years ago) & then moved down to Watford area. Moved to Flitwick 5 years ago then back down to Watford then back here 18 months ago & doesn't seem to have changed at all to me in that time, just a new block of appartments on the High Street. They have big plans to enlarge Tescos & improve the train station & there were plans to build a new leisure centre on Millennium park (next to where the market is) but for now thankfully nothing seems to be happening. Hopefully we'll be long gone from here & living in Perth before all that starts. Oh & there's also meant to be a Centre Parks being built up the road.

The difference is with Perth is at a guess you know you'll get some good/great weather unlike here where the cold weather just drags on. We have a clear bright blue sky this morning but it's cold out.

Pelting snow here today. Went for my run this morning a woman and came back like a mini snow-woman :rofl::rofl: I was soaked to the skin and I got funny looks from motorist :rofl: EA came to take photos of the house and has to come back another day to take the outside of the house.....!!

The only place I ran was from my house to the car...as my 4 year old said "its like stones rainin from the sky-it hurts".Soo cold here in Norn Iron I believe that old chestnut thats its too cold for snow.I must say I'm taking some pleasure in it though as our Brisbane based m.agent is due in Ireland in the next couple of weeks:):).Last I heard she'd a wee touch of sunburn..bless

We had rain last night. Beautiful today - clear blue skies and a big yellow thing up there that's pumping out warmth. Hope that makes you feel better Lainey :lol:

I have tried to stay in my flip flops as long as I could but have had to give in and put boots on! Mind you I got some warmth from a clear bottle with some red letters looked like smirnoff !:eek:
