Upon moving in here (2003) we had a sat dish installed on the balcony rail - within a couple of hours the caretaker fella in security phoned me on the intercom to say it had to be positioned/fastened on the inside (slightly lower) bit of the rail because in case of a big earthquake it might fall outwards not inwards...


(He must have had his spies out behind the building with binocs, we're pretty high up here with unobstructed view).

Well filthy is the amount of dosh one has to pay the 'garbage removal workers from the council' when a piece of rubbish more than a about six inches in size is to be got rid off, no such thing as a municipal dump here...
