This woman pissed me off because she was being prissy with it. Little fabric liners over her feet - placed on seat, shoes daintily placed on floor, handbag over crooked forearm. It was the effing incongruity of it all.
If she had PROPER bare feet I could have lived with it. Even in Melbourne in winter!

You jammy git. At least these people are fit for purpose. Well we can debate that.

My personal hate is the word 'yummy' - my god it makes my skin crawl, even worse in that whiney voice!!!!!!!

Oh thank god for my parallel Aus. I rarely see people with bare feet unless they're in my house or on the beach. There are some but it's most definitely not the norm. Most drinking places around here don't allow thongs, let alone bare feet.

As a kid in Australia, was a rite of passage to get around in barefeet to the point of being able to walk through broken glass with barely a scratch. As an adult my opinion has changed.

Bare feet are one thing but when the summer comes, check out the feet on some people in flip flops. Green overgrown toenails and toe jam. Put you off your dinner for days.

Why would I do that? I don't like looking at my own feet, why would I look at randoms? All feet are revolting.

(We touched on this before - feet seem to get bigger with age - and with carrying kids to term...)

You know what? As soon as I hit 'submit post' I knew you would be along to eulogise about your wife's feet. She wouldn't get compliments from me. I don't like feet that have been used for walking. The only feet that are not revolting are babies feet. It's my irrational hatred.

I'm elite, then, despite being old and fat Ahh, I've never had children, I haven't spoiled my feet
I hate feet, too. Toe sucking is as far from erotic as you could possibly get, IMHO. Bleugh bleugh bleugh.
