Default Interview with Tim Winton in 'The Independent'

Booker Prize nominated WA writer (for Dirt Music). I sometimes wonder if those people who rail against the lack of culture in OZ are so obsessed with Europe they refuse to look at what Australia really has to offer?

Actually, I can tell he is a 'serious' writer because I could not read Dirt Music which shows how cultured I am. Just read 'About a Boy' and I loved that.
