Hi Sammyg,
I read on here that they were bad so i did an Indian curry cookery course before i came out here! Have had a few curry nights for desperate expat friends who havent had a decent ruby in almost 4 years!! and have made a rod for my own back now!!!
Should meet up as only in Varsity Lakes and drink in the Robina Tavern some weekends and will have curry night if yiu fancy it?
You will smell us as i start cooking on Thursday for Saturday night!!!

well I know the purists amongst you may say its not a 'proper' curry as its not designed to rmove the top layer of skin from your mouth but my fav is a Lamb Pasanda with a peshwari naan (insert dribbling smiley)
I have made my own on a number of occasions but OH complains he can smell the spices for a week after-he doesn't like indian food at all so cant understand my desperation

yeah he really doesnt like anything remotely spicy- HP brown sauce is a no no for him-has recently been trying that bottled stuff -korma - sharwoods or pataks and he's ok with that so I just have to keep at it
