The missus forced me to watch this last night - I know I'm a shallow bloke and everything, but what a pile of poo it was. Highlight for me (apart from the tame bonking scene with the officer chap) was when the Aboriginal elder inspected that soldier's tackle. Part two? No thanks...

have to admit that i was slightly disappointed - I know the book (remember me) was fiction based on fact but it was a whole lot better

I caught a glimpse of it while surfing the channels, and was fortunate enough to witness the flogging scene.

It was pretty good, as flogging scenes go.

Couldn't be bothered to hang around for the rest, though.
