we've been, where abouts are you going? we had a week in Sanur :thumbdown: really didnt enjoy it there, after a couple of days i refused to leave the hotel we were just bombarded as soon as we stepped outside. Then we had a week in Ubud which was totally different, very relaxed we just loved it there :thumbsup:

if you want to see some of the island I recommend using a local guide and tell him to take you where he thinks you should go, not just to all the touristy spots, he took us to beautiful rice plantations with fields full of cranes just lovely. the temples are lovely but full of people selling you sarongs etc it can get a bit wearing and please make sure you have loo roll in your bag as they sell it by the sheet outside some of these places and if your unfortunate to get a touch of deli beli like I did it aint good :rofl:
