Default If you were...

a wine, which would you be and why?

Funny answers welcome...but can I also have really serious ones too. I have a job interview at a winery and I am expecting this question. Being a big beer drinker rather than wine (except the really cheap 5lt boxes ) makes it a little tough! I really need some inspiration, so please help.

Thanks you lovely bunch of people

Hopefully if I get a new job, I'll have time to post more! but don't let that put you off!

I would be the cheapest cask wine you can buy. Purely for the pleasure of making bogans throw up on a regular basis.

I'm a Shiraz... A little shy at first and slow to warm, but fruity given chance to breath, with underlying spice and subtle oak. I have soft, fine tannins and extended plum and chocolate characters, and will only improve with age.

And why? Shiraz is foreign originally, like me. It was introduced possibly from France though some say the East. It's full bodied and bold, like me... and epitomises Australia... full, flavoursome and bold.

PS - Good luck! Would love to work in a winery!

I've just bought 5 litres of cheap Fruity White and I think that's a fair description of me.

Not really. It's still accounts payable, just a different industry. Should be a walk in the park compared to what I do now! Plus, it's about 40km's closer to where I live than my current place of work

I was going to be a Shiraz, but that AlkyPom beat me to it.

So, I would be any wine, as I'm frequently drunk.

Semillon Sauvignon Blanc - dry crisp white, goes well with seafood or can be drunk on its own. (not that I get drunk on my own)

Other than that, a cask of dry white stuff- to go with the inner bag lady.
