If you had your time over, would you?
Knowing what you know now, if you could go back & start over, would you still emigrate?
We've been here over three years now and had this conversation a couple of days ago. We both decided we definitely would. Yes, we've had our tough moments, and it's hard leaving everyone on the other side of the world, but we both love it here and Australia's been good to us so far.
How about you?

Yes - and the last year has been dreadful for weather!

Yes most definitely. Best thing we ever did for the whole family. Absolutely no regrets whatsoever.

Yes if it was to do it at the same time as we did. Don't think I'd do it now though. Exchange rate was definitely helpful back then but still not as good as it had been a few years previous.

No. Australia is fine, but we gave up as much as we gained. It wasn't worth it.

Absolutely. It worked for me to make my money in London and then retire to Australia for a slow life. I don't think I would have wanted to have been here 'young' . I love the ocean here and wildlife but I think in my twenties I would have considered life here dull compared to London.
