I've just had a word with the pope and he's okay with Wendy's beatification.
(He's even agreed to waive that thing about being dead. Or even Catholic )

I hated the nazi-nationalistic 'if you don't like it leave' rubbish so was more a poke in the ribs to the aussies who actually believe Australia is utopia. The extreme reaction from some ex pats is another thing - it usually mean they would rather go back to UK but are stuck in Oz for some reason (eg Northern Bird for instance).

Actually I just got up, didn't realise I'd caused such cyber mayhem with my little post - whoops.

I think it'll be OK. I'm back at work tomorrow and don't have time to come on here until I get home at 6pm then I have a busy weekend, there's a BBQ with my family on Sat'day night, and a meet up with my mates on Sunday.....damn boring life I have, maybe I'll take the laptop with me

If you click on a username it say's go to profile...go there and it tells you how many posts they have and how many they have on Average per day since they joined.
See, this is why I have so many.

I don't know any Aussies who consider Australia to be Utopia. You mix or mixed with the wrong people.

I have a measly 1.51 average. Obviously i have a wonderful life outside of BE - either that or I have nothing to say when reading most posts! But then neither do many of the posters themselves
