Re: I want Britain to be about British
I've seen a few of the EDL video's on You Tube, they all show that the EDL members struggle to convey what's behind their dislike of foreigners.
I do like the soundtrack to this video:cool: |

As daft as it sounds, I was looking for something about the Flat Earth Society as a laugh.... and found a serious discussion in there about how to reconcile that the Koran said the Earth is flat, when its obviously not. The consensus seemed to be that the images taken from space of the Earth floating in the darkness were faked by the Kafirs !!

Re: I want Britain to be about British
I just had a look at the flat earth thread and apparently it was one sheik who said it was flat. Someone else points out that the Qur'aan (or however it is spelt this week) says that it's shaped like an ostrich egg. Which is not a bad punt as ostrich eggs are near spherical. I suspect that when the Qur'aan was written there was sufficient celestial knowledge within in the Arab world to allow it to be right on this point.
The whole ummah thing is interesting from a UK/Aus perspective. I noticed in the UK that the ruling council were reluctant to condemn the actions of Islamic terrorists and I suspected that this was because of ummah, i.e. your supposed to stick together no matter what. However in Aus I've noticed the ruling council is quite prepared to condemn Islamic terrorism and kick out clerics who step over the line of decency. (Cue Grayling with a ) I think creature may be trying to create fitna :D |
