I know its only 10 bucks............
 
..........but I think its a liberty.
Working back in the city again as from next week, so called into joondalup to get a Smart Rider Card.
Couldnt believe I had to pay $10 just for the poxy card!!!:thumbdown:
Going to invest my hard earned cash in some Transperth shares!!!!

It's incredible that there are so many "surprise" costs for every day items. They may be low cost, but they add up.

Maybe change your name to john howard, say you have no cash and ride for free just like tony blair did in london. (should have been given a fine, not a free ride)

no different to london then really- i am almost certain i paid about 3/4 pound for the privilege of holding an oyster card

Thats the Same as the GO card in SEQld.
But I think you can give the card back and get the $10 refunded.

I love my GO card! Had so many free trips this week...every time I touch off on the ferry it seems to register as a 'Cancel Touch On'!

So I'm not too worried about the $10!!

Register your Smart Rider Card on the Transperth website. Then download the form for charging it up by Direct Debit. As soon as Transperth receive the form, you'll travel at 20% discount. Which means effectively if you travel into the city five days a week, every fifth day you'll travel free :). Well worth it.

Yeah got fed up with them taking the 'P' out of me.............back to the city again.................only this time at 7 in the morning!!!:eek:
