Nail varnish remover and a soft cloth is good at removing the residue. But check it doesn't damage the paint/finish of the appliance by rubbing some over an out of sight area first.

Tea tree oil and a clean white cloth - that's what they use in Target to remove stickers from goods. Not 100% sure if it's OK for white goods enamel.

Peel as much of the sticker off as you can first. If you soak a paper towel with vegetable oil and hold it on the sticker until it is thoroughly saturated it should be really easy to scrape off with a plastic scraper. The oil will get under the adhesive and make the sticker peel off. You can then clean off any excess oil with a soapy sponge.

Not tried this myself but was told that good old furniture polish works, spray it on thick leave it to soak then peel it off. Don't think there is anything that can harm your white goods in that.

I thought most companies used those 'easy peel off' stickers these days - but I have used nail polish remover in the past to dissolve the residue glue left behind.
