I paid for a clipper set, and the wife cuts my hair - so zero cost per cut after the initial purchase.

Mr BS pays $50, which was a surprise. I might have to cut his grooming allowance.

The young spark pays £5 usually - doesn't let me use the clippers anymore.

I use a cheap swivel head disposable razor which costs about $1 at Coles. Very cheap. ;)

Are we talking Oz? Like all things in Oz prices can vary wildly. I pay 15. Though you can pay 50 if you want.

My husband is bald so pays $0. Me? I make up for him and pay about $140 every 8 weeks - but that includes covering the grey.

$20 but know where I can get a bad on for $10. Along the haircut lines one observation i've made about Australians in general is that they don't seem to go bald quite so much as the British, is there a particular reason why? You don't see many Aussie guys with a helipad, yet every 2nd bloke in England was bald from memory. Most of the bald guys I come across here are expats. It must be something to do with the sun. I don't believe it to be limited to just "English" people as I remember a lot of Jamaican/Indian descent UK men who were bald too.

Is that what lack of vitamin D does? I was recently identified as having chronically low levels of vitamin D a couple of months ago, have to take daily supplements now.
