We no longer discuss just the price of lettuce here. In your absence we've branched out to: Will my shoes work in Oz. And: Where can I buy over-priced desinger t-shirts, because I come out in a rash if I wear one that only costs $7.50.

We are very well thanks Debsy.
Gill broke her leg some 12 months back and I don't think it'll ever be the same again. I kick it every so often just to make sure but she still limps when I do.
You still doing a course ?

Did anyone see the report on Channel 7 news tonight? Apparently the cold spell held the Brocoli and Lettuce back from fully developing, and just as the warmer weather kicked in, we got some rain too! Which means its a bumper crop! Warm weather and rain means good Lettuce and Broccoli
The farmers were saying the Lettuce and Broccoli are going to be in over supply for the next few weeks because they've had such a great crop, and it will be all really good quality.
Didn't catch the price for Lettuce, but Brocoli should be about $1.99. I tried to find the report on the Seven news website, but it hasn't arrived yet, I'll post a link when it appears.
Hope you are all as excited as I am.
