Lurking in the archives probably, covered in witchy cobwebs You could always start one though...."Ah those were the days, when I....." or something like that

I only took on my current job in order to get some much needed dosh and to refresh my skills, having been a stay at home mum for 5 years

I am biding my time there now until we get our visa. I start a new position tomorrow which hopefully will be better, but TBH I don't enjoy my work. I get satisfaction from knowing I do it well, but it is mind numbing occasionally

The actual job, I can take or leave. It can be a bit repetitive and boring, but it's easy. I like the fact that I can walk to work (if I want to! I usually get a lift with DH), it pays very well, it's only two days a week and is very flexible - they let me pick and choose my hours to suit around childcare. I'm mainly hanging onto it because part-time positions like that are hard to find. It won't be long before DD starts school and I'll probably up the number of days I work, but only work school hours.

I have only been in my job for 9 weeks but have given it an 80%. For now ... I hope I have not jinxed myself. I like it because it is very busy, varied and challenging but not in a negatively challenging way. And today I got to go to the Richard Branson breakfast conference at Darling Harbour which was great.

The 20% I don't love includes my office, they have put me in what I believe could have been a stationery cupboard prior to my arrival. Also my days are long, leave the house at 6.15am and get back about 7pm. Good job I never bought into that moving to Australia for an easier life / better work life balance stuff.

4 and a half days to go and no other job lined-up.

20% is wildly optimistic.

I love my job. Absolutely love it. Work for myself. Just love being in small business really and how all that works, making connections with people and doing something good in the community I live in. Just fab.

i put 60% as im a stay at home mum but need a job. i love being able to get the boys home from school and hear about their day. I love pottering around the house although dislike certain aspects of housework lol.
But the job is poorly paid and i cant afford anything or take time off.
The only good thing about being at home im my own boss when im on my own lol

I love it. I put 100% although it's more like 95% really. There are some bits to it that I don't love. But on the whole, it's great. It's varied, has plenty of opportunity, I'm not stuck behind a desk, I get to help people and it can be good fun. I wouldn't want to be doing anything else (right now).
