Been there, done that. First one committed suicide before we got as far as the visa process, now divorced from the second one.....and people wonder why I'm resolutely single now!!!

Twas a long and messy story, living here did have something to do with it though the result could've been the same if he'd gone home, he was a depressive alcoholic. And yes, of course it had an effect on me, still does

He was a pom too - also came here to marry an Aussie and ended up divorced

A depressive alcoholic hey..........cart before the horse or horse before the cart? Not sure which creates what or what creates which, been depressive, been, maybe still an alcoholic/insomniac?
Funny hey, the problems subside for the time but re-appear when subside time runs out? (Beer mode goes)
