How long do you book for ??
Hi All, When you arrive in Oz how long do most people book into a short term holiday let, whilst looking for a long term rental ? we were thinking 3/4 weeks what do ya reckon ??

that should be long enough mate,alot of people just ok for a couple of weeks 
mind you theres alot of ground between the gold and sunshine coast

Thanks Tracey,
I know, we have got specified areas in Sunshine and Gold Coast to look at so it wont be so bad
(she says !!!!) I have gone by the schools really looking at the ones I want to look at, plus my daughter has to vet the uniforms Its getting closer by the minute !

We have booked a holiday let for a month. Going to Perth in August.
Hopefully this will give us time to find a long term rental and sort out bits
and pieces.

We lobbed into a hotel for a week before we found our rental (Wished we *hadn't* found it, though! <g>)

We're heading out 3rd June and arriving 5th June. Got two kids (and a dog!). Sam, he's 8 and Asha, she's 5. Got a job at Griffith University so only to find a house and schools. Any plans yourself?

We are looking to go out beginning of June too, we don't have any jobs yet, Russ is a chef so hopefully will not be too long before he gets one. We are going to have a base probably on Gold coast and will have a look there and also want to look at Sunshine coast too.
We also have 2 kids Elliott 8 and Leah 11, so will be visiting some schools too
Good luck to you, we will be arriving fairly much the same time eh
