HI ya.

A question.

How long did it take to sell your house in mother England??
MY partner is becoming frustrated because his house has been on the market for 3 months and so far, no takers.

Well mine took about 20 minutes! Found out I was going to back to Oz with work, walked into pub that night, mate said he'd buy house. Simple (but very lucky!).

My nephew has just immigrated. House on market in Apr07, sold Dec 07. Sensible pricing, nice area, nice house, no reason for it - very frustrating for them.

Hi,
I work for an estate agent and at the moment the market is slow, very slow, lots of people putting there houses on the market ( mine also in next couple of weeks) but unfortunatley no buyers out there. We have lots of people wanting to buy properties but they do not have buyers.
We need more FTB to start the chains going, but they can not afford the interest rates.
Know if any one wants a nice 4 bed detached close to the sea let me know.

Been on the market almost a year now with only one viewing and £30k knocked off the price so far :curse:

We put the house on the market at the end of July. We accepted an offer on it at the beginning of January.
Survey done, but till waiting for a date to exchange.

Put house on market May 2007. Accepted an offer end of June 2007. Buyers pulled out end August 2007. :curse: Been on the market ever since. Reduced price by £50K by December 2007 . Just starting to get viewings now after a complete lack of interest over the Winter.

Put house on the market 06/02, emigrated 10/02, sold 02/03, exchanged 05/03. Wish it hadn't have sold for a few more years really!!

The nice thing here in Aus is there are no chains. Bloody marvelous.

Our last house sold in 4 days in 2006, it fell through , put it back on the market and sold in 5 days. But now we NEED to sell up i know it's gonna take ages, sods law and all that! Hoping no more than 6 months.

House put on the market Nov 07, 5 viewers, 1 offer DECLINDED by me (silly offer). Just thinking of changing EA's. Also kocked at lot off the asking price!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been on the market since start of July 07, only got 4 viewers last of which was August last year, we are in the process of getting another estate agent on the go
