Hope Caroline and Steve are feeling better soon.
My day has been OK. All stable in the NB household just now. Oldest has been consistently going to school with the odd suspension for smoking and youngest has been offered an audition for The Voice Kids 2014. There will be lots of other kids there but we are both excited and I am exceptionally proud.

My friend recently had surgery for cancer but has been making a good recovery and all positive from her doctors. We haven't spoken recently and I had a dream last night that her husband said she was back in hospital. When I got up this morning there was a text from her saying she has to have more tests today as she's not felt right for a couple of weeks. I feel a bit bewildered about the dream and her news TBH.

ON a slightly less health related note... I am catering an 18th birthday for one of Gorgeous's mates today.... Been Gorgeouses BBB (best butt buddy) since the day we arrived..... They have not had a falling out in 6 years..and been the for each other through some pretty shit times....
Luckily it's for a bunch of Aussie lads.... So no fancy cut tomatoes and no petit fours... and nothing healthy....
Party pies, sausage rolls, pizza, chicken drumsticks, a kilo of spring rolls and a kilo of samosas.... A gallon of tomato ketchup And 4 dozen cup cakes.....
I'm decorating the cupcakes with PINK icing.... Hope he still has a sense of humor.....

Spent the day traipsing round Macquarie Uni with OH, DD and her friend who is already at uni. Sooooooo tired right now- DD has gone to bed, OH is watching rugby after doing the watering, and I'm cooking cauliflower cheese for tea. It was quite useful, but it is the 3rd year I've been there!!

It will be, this is a kid who has had a pretty crappy time of it growing up, but has retained his morals, his manners and his positive outlook on life...
I won't be at the party... Just doing the catering for it as our birthday present to him....
