There must be another dermatologist you can be referred to? Ring your doctor up and tell them you're not prepared to wait that long when you're in pain.

Meanwhile, back on the steroid creams. Let's hope I don't get them mixed up as I also have several for my scalp and eyes.
Oh Carolne, do you realise what an inspiration you are?

I think you're going to need a couple of weeks off work for that. Surely the nail needs time to grow out before you'll be able to use that finger again.

I'm not courageous- but thank you for the compliment!!
At least my MS is mild -I know many others who can't get around. I just would like the list of things to get shorter, not longer.

You sort of get used to things, and just have to make the best of them. But I do grumble/whinge from time to time.

That is excruciatingly painful- get treatment asap, before it becomes chronic.

I know what you're saying, my missus says the same, trouble is I can always find something to do instead of going to the quacks. To be absolutely honest, listening to your problems, I'd feel like a fraud in comparison.

Right- straight talking here. I did exactly what you did and trapped a nerve in my shoulder: not playing darts, but stuck in a plane for 24 hours. I ignored going to the doctor/ physio, for a few weeks, as I was in the UK, and the pain got worse. I don't want to scare you, but it took 6 months of physio and excercises and painkillers before the nerve was able to be released. Think that however long you have had the pain, it will take x3 to get it better. Do it now, while the inflammation is acute, because if it does become chronic, you will be bugged by it for the rest of your life.

LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE!!!

Oh, and just because I have troubles, doesn't mean that you shouldn't do something about yours.

I reckon you have every right to. Sometimes puts it into perspective for everyone I guess, you see people worse than you, we see people worse than us. Sometimes when screaming 'I can't cope any longer' I think maybe we all need to remember the people that cope with worse

Taking the missus out for a prelude on a promise night tonight.... Brand new Thai place opened up in Coburg.... Hoo bloody ray.... at last, makes a change from the 10 or so Kebab shops and the 4 or 5 Curry places..... So I'm dead chuffed thats here now.

Tomorrow, got around 20 of my Victory mates turning up to either console or congratulate me for a Football/Souvlaki night with all the trimmings... Lamb and Chicken on the weber, which we've been prep-ing for all day. My UK team are 15-1 against tomorrow, circa 10pm tomorrow... and I've got 20 bucks on them. I'm dead sure they will win... they always do in these type of games.

There will be some noise here tomorrow night.... thats for sure

Dont know whether to put the large screen TV outside or not... gonna be a bit cool I think.
