Re: How has your day been?
Just seen DD off at the airport. She has a week in Fiji, volunteering at a local school and regenerating a reef. 28 degrees there -9 degrees and freaking cold here!!
OH has just had a case of wine delivered, so he is set for tonight's rugby. (It is red wine, so I won't partake.)

Went to Costco for the first time yesterday..... Got a hell of a lot of Easymacs for our 15yo who always wants easy food NOW..(cheese macaroni stuff) and Nasi Goreng Noodles and about a years supply of Tbags in the cupboard now. Forgot the bloody coffee and dont have any instant in the house at present Did come back with a fantastic 16 inch vegiterian pizza which went down really well.
Great experience, almost like a theme park for food and goods. Seemed as chaotic and excitable as a theme park yesterday....Loved it will be going back ASAP, with a list this time rather than walking around agog at what was on offer.
Twas a real effort getting in there, trying to find a free park... dont bother they dont exist., Negotiating blocked Dudley St, then more roadworks, then roads clogged to get in there. Wife went mental at me, she was driving when I kept her driving around in the clogged traffic for about 20 mins looking for a non existent free car park....(we both dont usually mind a bit of a walk) She spat the dummy and we nearly came home without getting in. Glad she just drove in the adjacent car park in the end. Although we were so pissed off with each other at the time, that we forgot to take note of where we were and couldnt find the car on the way back... that took 20 mins as well LOL.
Found my next big present, knew it was there, and have been heavily hinting for ages now... even hunted the elusive thing down and stood in front getting the wife to acknowledge its beauty and function.
You never know... 640 bucks they go on special sometimes apparently.
Here's hoping

I applied for yet another job at the weekend - just had a phonecall and have an interview later this afternoon
At this rate my fingers will be permanently crossed

How did the interview go? And I reckon if they really wanted you at the other place they wouldn't be hanging on to interview the other candidate
