Have a viewing this afternoon and another tomorrow - forgot how difficult it is trying to clean with a baby in the house. Hopefully they can see past the toy mountain and thankfully my daughter is back tonight

Had a totally awesome evening/night

Went over and helped a friend stab herself.... Were going out for dinner with mates and didn't have time to head home, swapmvehicles then head out again... So donned the DMs and became a biker chick for the first time in Fluckin YEARS...

Maybe it's because its the first time since being in Australia I haven't been thinking... Shit if we both get killed on this bloody bike our kids will be totally alone... Coz the grey nomads have arrived....?????? but **** me... I was right back at 17 .... Total buzz.. Not felt like that since before Kevin was born...
Adrenalin, leaning into bends, the NOISE (coz HE has illegal exhausts from USA) the speed, the buzz... The thrill....

Really decent meal at a really cheap price at a true blue Ozzie club... Plenty of shite beers... With Ozzie mates... (ok their was a haggis thrown in, but she seems quite cool too)

Then reckless boy racer tip home... Racing our mates... Totally relaxed, felt totally at home on the mean streets machine.....

It's like riding a bike.... You never forget.... You just kid yourself...

Want to head down to Margaret river tomorrow... Just for the ride.... Have to run it past him in then morning eh?

Fuxkinfantastic night

So, given all that and the fact that I need to do the right thing by my colleague, I will put my hand up. We don't have kids so it's not a huge deal Definitely will be a catalyst for relocation, hopefully a bit further sth west in the UK (Newbury/ Swindon area) or back to Oz. Mrs TB is up for UK citizenship in March (we think), so will probably stay until then.

Anyway, cheered myself up by buying a new (2nd hand) Paul Reed Smith guitar
Swindon??? Newbury is ok, but coming from just south of Swindon I say DON"T GO THERE!!! It was a total cr*phole when I lived in the vicinity, with a one way system and magic roundabout that no one knew how to use. It has expanded massively in recent years, with soul destroying noddy-box estates.
Of course it may be a lovely town after 20 years away, but I wouldn't live there if you paid me a fortune.

Agree totally. I meant for work, not to live. Swindon/Newbury/ TVP is a big hub for the kind of companies I work for.

Half your luck, Haven't done anything that exciting in decades....

Recovery mode from excessive drinking due to last nights overdone heat.

Today... leave house circa 4pm ish... head for Swan St, Richmond, catch up with Football mates at 9T4 and do the pre match football thing..... Bloody glad they didnt play last night. Could break 20k supporters again even if it is Wellington.

Sometimes I want to 'break out' of normal routine and do something like that, just to remind myself what it feels like, except I don't know what it would take to give that buzz.

You first
