My sister (3rd dan)and brother (5th dan) do tae-kwon-do and Thai kick boxing. They run their own schools now in Trowbridge. Last time we visited brother was showing off his moves, and dislocated a finger when a flying kick went wrong. So instead of a nice dinner afterwards we were at the ER on a friday night!!

I was meant to take the dog round the wetlands but feel so weak and shattered so I am attempting my housework. So far the second load of washing is on, washing up done but I have to hoover and polish and put fresh sheets on the bed.
Its taking ages and all i want to do is lie down so I think the gym is out for today.

Well that was an extremely productive trip.... Have a washing basket overflowing with quilting fabrics, with LOADS of child friendly ones .... We can get started on doing some Christmas quilts for PMH....

Took the dog to the beach with Mr PP and had a coffee, came back - hurting like a bastard with swollen fingers and hands, just about to have steak for our dinner and then I am off to bed

Having people over for a Barbie this Arvo. Made a batch of sweet pan roast almonds and cashews.... Left them to cool on the side and they have disappeared.....
Searched high and low... Can't find them anywhere.....
However, Grey Nomad, Gorgeous and HIM are all sat picking their teeth watching footie....
Now I wonder what that means

Having a really nice weekend. And not just because I'm not working this weekend!
Yesterday we did a 4WD course to learn a few more things we can do in the Jeep. It was really fun and the Jeep handled everything brilliantly.
Today we've had friends around for a barbie. 10 adults and 4 kids
but we all survived and a good time was had by all (apart from the cat, who was totally freaked out - she's not used to children 
)

Good day today.
Finally saw Skyfall (excellent) and then had dinner out (no cooking - even more excellent)
Also finalised our plans in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse (obviously dependent on what type of Zombies we get) so all is right with the world.

I took my sister to Whitford's shopping 'cause she wanted a specific pair of shoes. It's the old man's birthday today so I thought I would kill 2 birds and grab him a small gift to open at dinner (his real pressie was the Elton John tix and night in the city 2 weeks ago - the one where I broke my nose ).
Anyway, my sister got her shoes, and I got 2 silk nighties for my daughter for Christmas and a gorgeous floral skirt for myself. We came home and did 3 loads of laundry, made a pavlova for desert and now I'm just about to put the meatloaf in the oven.
My daughter downloaded the series of Inside Men for me so we're going to watch a marathon tonight. If you haven't seen Inside Men it was on UKTV about 6 weeks ago - I highly recommend seeing it.
