OH is sick, so I'm dosing him with honey, and waiting for him to give me his bug in time for Christmas.

Meanwhile the tidying/washing continues, and I'm yet to start thinking about decorating the house.
So,all good then.

Got up at 7am to go to the beach, wish I had bought my bathers. I thought the water would be cold but it was so warm. Never mind, tomorrow I shall be up at the same time and this time, I will go for a swim.

Looks great. I've just been in my pool which is up to 26 degrees, so positively balmy - however it hasn't really done its job of cooling me down, so I'll have to get back in later.

Finished the food shopping, all bar the smoked salmon, prawns and fesh bread and milk on Tuesday.....

Just need HIM to find presents for child number 2 and 3 and a couple of randoms and we are done...

Nearly Had tears when we couldn't find unsweetened chestnut purée...for the stuffing... But my hero suggested Malibu IGA and hey presto.... A whole bloody shelf full of it.

You can stick a fork in me

Have got very swollen and painful ankles and calves from all the standing I did yesterday. By the evening it was impossible to get my foot to flex to 90 degrees. Spent the night with my feet propped up on 3 pillows, so a little better this morning, but still a bit puffy. Most of the puffiness has moved to round my eyes and I have a headache.
I've got more standing to do today and tomorrow.

Went out with my neighbour and her family last night, they drove us up to Joondalup and then Tapping (never been that far up North before)

We saw all the xmas lights - some of those houses looked gorgeous.

And tonight they (my neighbour) have invited us over to theirs for xmas drinks, husband cant come as he is working but Ill be going. Thought that was really nice of them to invite us.

Feeling quite Christmassy.

Yup.... They work too... Providing you have genuinely used them with boiling water first.... Only people look at you oddly when they open your fridge and find used teagpbags in it...no one questions a cucumber
