How has your day been?

Re: How has your day been?
Just been a really long week and it's not going to get any better.
For anyone out there not sure whether to make that journey to see a loved one, please do it before it is too late. I was literally hours too late in seeing my mum and instead of spending some precious time with her, I am now having to organise her funeral and look after my dad. Those times are precious and we don't appreciate them until it's too late.

Re: How has your day been?
I am going home on Saturday with mixed emotions - mum has a very good support network of friends and family and I have sorted some stuff to make life easier for her so I'm happy with that but I'm not happy that I probably won't see her again.
Remember to take care of yourself too, and think of all the good times you had xx
