Oh god what a crap day, with messages coming over from Family that my dad is very sick in hospital, but the siblings keep saying dont come over until they get all the result first, I don't know what to do now, book the ticket or not.
Then had to take DD to her regular appointment to Sydney eye hospital just to be told she has genetic condition on her optic disc that most doctors get it wrong, also both Me & OH need to get tested for it too now as its quite dangerous in some cases.
but no cure but can be kept under control with vision field tests.
Then get home & daughter get messages sent to her from her friends at school that a boy in their class has taken syntactic LSD drug & has jumped off 3rd floor balcony to his death

I've had a headache all day that won't go away and is leaving me a bit nauseous, and my left eye is still bloody and now puffy too.
And now I have taken the end of my thumb and nail off with the mandolin. Life just gets better and better.....(ouch)

Quite a good day at work, but then I do like my job and consider myself lucky to be there. Other UK crap happening which makes the distance harder yet in a strange way, I am glad I am here so I dont get to see my loved ones go through illness.

Off for a wander around the Crown Casino complex tonight for once... Haven't been for a few years. Might have a go at the black jack tables and definitely have a decent meal. Might end up at Rockpool or the Conservatory yet.
All the kids are out... There are some real benefits to the teenage years afterall

Sitting at the computer again, as OH is watching rugby- first the French vs Kiwis and now the Lions match. I'm losing the will to live.......

No point fighting when rugby is on. I know my place and it is out of the room. Mind you I get all the sound effects.

My brother send video of my dad this morning, he didn't look too well, so I went bought a ticket, I'm flying out on Saturday, couldn't just wait around, even got discount from flight center they match the Internet price.
