How has your day been?

Re: How has your day been?
He had been in poor health for a few years, so in a way it is a release, but my aunt is in her 80's and has very poor sight. Not sure how she will be, even if she is a tough lady. They live in Auckland in what is basically a mobile home.
And a few days ago my friend's dad died- he had a fall a year ago and never recovered, and my friend was his carer. In a way it is another release, as my friend will now be able to have a life of his own again. But it is hard to lose a loved one, no matter how much of a burden looking after them is, and I'm struggling for words to write in the sympathy cards.

Shocko foreshore was chock a block today, had to park halfway to Kwinana, worth it though as I met up for lunch with an old friend I haven't seen in 15 years it's always good when you just pick up like you saw each other yesterday!

Could not believe how busy it was, we normally avoid it like the plague on holiday weekends but when I'd arranged to meet up I'd forgot about it being a holiday Monday. Was good to see so many families out enjoying themselves though.
