Air con? Luxury item for the overly pampered.

Unless in a car, then essential ....

Being on tank water, the newer front loaders that use minimal amounts of water might be the way to go. Prices are reasonable now I'd say. Samsung, Bosch even cheap at Hardly Normal. Appliances online seem to get good reviews.
Been keeping our LG going for 7 years but it's been an on-going battle (PCB, door handle/sensor, main gasket, etc).

Water economy big on our priorities too, Samsung is favourite if the latest fix is short-lived. Got Appliances Online bookmarked and actually waiting on a (non-washing machine) order right now ...

Energy efficiency savings interesting ... 5 star machine costs megabucks but the actual yearly $ saving is not that great as far as I can make out ...

Off topic? Nah....washing machines and ovens blowing up is all part of the emigration process.

And definitely plays a part in how good or bad your day was. As for Air Con, if we didn't have the two units already here when we moved in, we'd never have bothered. I don't even think we've turned the bedroom one on in seven years other than to make sure it works. Open windows work well here.

If the car aircon goes for it we have no worries.... One of HIS strings to his bow is he's a licensed aircon repairer..... But only for cars

So another phone call form estate agent today means I have a viewing booked for tomorrow. Would it be too much to ask that they love the house and offer the asking price on the spot please, pretty please even

Yesterday I was dangerous at work. I'm a bit worried about going in today in case it happens again I managed to trip over a step and only save myself from going base over apex by grabbing a passing trolley whilst doing ungainly elephant stylee ballet hops up the aisle! I managed to save myself but not my dignity as it caused much amusement all round. Then I was describing said mishap to another colleague whilst doing an impression of my performance and forgot to check behind me before doing one of my ballet leaps and only avoided kicking a customer because she was young and managed to dive out the way! Fortunately, she saw the funny side Then my laces came undone whilst I was moving a pallet of rubbish and I trod on the lace (like our mothers all warned us) and nearly fell into the rubbish - saved once again by ungainly elephant ballet! Those were just a few of yesterdays traumas at work! These are amongst the reasons why I should work in an office.

Bought healthy toast and it's so wide it won't even fit in the toaster. Plus, it tastes sweeter and has more calories than not healthy toast.

Also, had tinned salmon and rabbit food for dinner the night before and didn't lose any weight.

Exercise guru says cut the carbs, dietician says adopt a high carb diet.

Stupid rules. Maltesers never lie.

Do they make dark chocolate maltesers? Would they float, crouton like, if one was to fill, lets say a brandy balloon, with red wine?
