I think if you say your easily pleased when it comes to it you will find out your not . you must have certain standards that you apply to everything & if it fails to meet those standards , yer not pleased .

you expect a certain standard from a restaurant for example & they throw yer yer plate down in front of you & it has upon it something that resembles roadkill then you would not be pleased unless of course it was free .

She said I was a person who wouldn't accept mediocrity... which is probably one of the most perceptive things anyone has ever said to me before ... but it was bang on the money.
I was astonished .. but then isn't mediocrity easy to avoid?

Being a nurse and spending 12 hours giving my best to people in often very difficult circumstances(today for example) i find im hard to please when some flunky cant be arsed and gives me shit service in a restaurant/bar/train etc,or am i just stressed:curse:

You have standards set that you set yerself , as with anyone wether they be high or low . but what is high or low ? only you know .

if you set up your camera for a photo & it turned out rubbish , who says its rubbish ? you do . i may look & think its fantastic ........ but i doubt it

I'm a perfectionist, but as I get older for some reason it becomes harder for me to reach the pleasure zone

quite recently at a coffee emporium, I purchased a coffee and cake special.

the cake had a pubic hair gently nestling, almost floating at the cakes peak.

needless to say, the waitress, remained unperturbed and nonchalantly replaced the pubescent pile with a generous slice of Lamington, free of any foreign matter

Instead, should I have placed this pube on the side of the plate, continue eating and then complain?

Pleasure depends on timing and circumstance, on the mood your in...

but I'm afraid I do have a tendency to point out many an imperfection or a displeasure more often than not, a pleasing or a disturbing behavioral trait
