I met mine when I was 17 we use to go the same college, we even went on one date, and I absolutely hated the date I had with him.
Then about 3 or 4 years later I was walking through Kensington Park I saw him.
We arrange to go out for a drink, I was already going out with somebody else but he was in USA, getting his pilot licence.
Me & Chris just use to go out for drinks & just socialising, nothing romantic at all between us, then suddenly we fell for each other, we have been together ever since.
So how did you meet your OH?

I met mine when I was 17, at my sisters wedding, he was an usher (BIL's best mate) and I was a bridesmaid...been together ever since 22+ years

First of all congratulation, it was the same with mine My lovely in-laws were so sure of it that none of them brought us any wedding presents to our wedding, because they said they didnt want to waste their money, as it wont last a year, how charming.
His aunt told me they had high hope for my OH, as they wanted somebody with Title to marry him, well not only did I have no title but I was Iranian too.
OH hasnt spoken to the cow for well over 20 years now, & we are still married, haha to them.

My house had been hit by some hurricane winds and dome some damage to the roof and guttering system. My hubby was the plumber who the contracting company sent round to do repairs, so it is commonly said in the family that I found hubby in the gutter It truly was love at first sight thunderbolt and lightning thing, as soon as I opened my front door I was gone, big time. Within a week I knew that this was the man I would spend the rest of my life with. 18 years later we are still like a newly married couple

We met on ICQ on the net in April 2000. I was in Wales OH in Queensland.
We chatted for a few weeks then I came over in late May for 2 weeks. Went back for 2 weeks then back to Oz for 3 weeks. Came out again in August only to be sent back on the same plane.
She came over to Wales in November, we got married . Lived in Wales for a while then came out to QLD in Jan 2002. Happily married for almost 8 years now.

I went out for a mid week drink something I didnt normally do to a pub I hadnt been to before with a girlfriend,there was a line of men at the bar we were admiring there Bums when one of them swore and one of them turned round and said sorry ladies they were all on leave from the army, we have been married for 33 very happy years and my mate married one of the others and there still together.

I met mine on a blind date at my friends house. Matt wasn't a drinker then but we got him stoted and stripped him naked and then put him to bed of which I then had to sleep next to him about 5 hours later. Met him the week after and was married 1 year later and still together 11 years later. They do say love is blind though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
