ALDI had two types today, a cheap one something like the Woolworths ones and another much better, but at the higher price of $2.99 for 6.

Woolworths were $4.69 for 8, but not as good.

Personally I love them I hate that you can buy them almost all year round in the UK now though. To me they are special to Easter & should stay that way!
Why?? Anything good should be available all year round.

You'll be saying next you only eat pancakes on shrove tuesday

Ha- can you imagine what they'd look like sold here? There'd be nothing wee about them!

I bought my kids some easter chocolate today and the mall was heaving, as was the supermarket and people were buying chocolate literally by the trolley load

All good things come to those who wait & you appreciate it more. Or perhaps my Catholic upbringing has had more of an effect thanI thought!

I know, seen it yesterday, you'd think chocolate was dying off the way people were stuffing it into those trolleys!

You haven't had a real Hot Cross Bun unless it is with Jam and Clotted Cream

Of course then it leads to the debate about jam or cream on first....

I agree. All that's needed is a good spreading of creamy butter
