Hot or Cold?

Summer's gone (good riddance).

I'd sooner try to get warm than try to get cool.

What about you... would you rather have to warm up or cool down?

Why?

Give me warm any day.I love wearing summery dresses and having plenty choice of what to wear.I love wearing flip flops and having my nails painted.I love going to the outdoor cinema and eating out.I'm not looking forward to winter. My saving grace is our wood burner.

Summer's not gone here by a long shot. It's forecast for 34 tomorrow and 36 Wednesday & Thursday.

I prefer summer, though I can understand your preference. Brisbane is pleasant in winter, I hear

Here in Canberra -5 at night is standard staple. Had to laugh, my dad was here a couple of years back in winter and said he'd never felt so cold in all his life (even with a slow burner (and $800 of wood burning later) and ducted heating). This year he came over on Boxing day and said he'd never felt so hot in all his life. There's no pleasing some people. :D Next time we'll try spring or autumn.

Winter is great around here, no contest for me.

I am not a lizard, contrary to the evidence.

Winter is lovely here although not a fan of the evenings unless the wood burner is going. I prefer Summer, heat suits my body more as I'm a bit cold blooded. Even in summer my arms are cold.

Having lived in both Canada and Australia I will take the heat here in Perth. I hope to never see that white shite again in my life!! I am OK up to about 35, I don't like it above that temperature.

I agree.

Its so much easier to get warm than cool down.

Cold for me, no contest. My ideal temperature is around 20C, it is crap when it gets up around 30 or higher. You can always warm up but it's way harder to cool down.

Re: Hot or Cold?

Much rather have it cold and rug up than be sweltering. The thought of hot nights with no breeze fills me with horror - having a cold shower and lying on a damp towel to keep cool - ugh!

Re: Hot or Cold?

Prefer to be warm than cold although given our summer seems to stretch on for a long time, I am partly looking forward to the cooler months this year (for a change more than anything) but am sure after a few weeks of cold temperatures I'll be missing my main preference!

I think my main preference is for sunny skies (I am no fan of grey days) as opposed to warm vs cold

Re: Hot or Cold?

I love being warm, I love the feel of the sun on my skin.

I also love snow and skiing but I don't like being cold.

So I guess the answer is hot.
