He must be very happy then as they are going up up up next season!

I am not sure how my Phil will cope with the lack of footy (soccer) when we get there. Lots of viewing on games at silly times of the morning me thinks as he knows naff all about Aussie football at the moment. How about Simon?

Keep smiling Jude, the posts on here can be hilarious as well as informative, which is why I am an addicted member.

Take care, Amanda

Si loves soccer too!!! he just stays up & watches foxtel (skys equiv!)

He keeps up to date with swindon all the time!!

He watches aussie footy & has got in to it well. he loves it now & supports the brisbane brochos!!

Im still trying to work out how to post & whther to reply on some as people seem to know each other well!

What sort of forum is this one?? Is it debates or just chit chat. Does it get nasty? Im a member of a few baby related ones so i know how they work & it gets heated on some of them, hence why im treading carefully!!:D

Debates, chit chat, immigration advice, Australian lifesytle advice, (plus the same for other countries). Yes sometimes it can get heated, nature of the beast I think, but don't let it worry you.

Some people have been around forever and some are new. I think when you're all in the same boat you do tend to find people that you can relate to and friendships do form. Sometimes tha's just on here, and other times in real life. Just butt in where you like, new posters are always welcome. :)

Re: Hi there

Thanks guys for the welcome!

Its a bit weird really as its a whole new forum again & getting to know everyone

Im already a member of 2 & have 'known' them for nearly 3 years. Unfortunately most are in the UK apart from 1 or 2 that ive met that were members

This site looks very informative but at the moment very confusing!!

Hopefully once i find my feet i will start joining in properly & hopefully start to meet a few people too!
