HELP!!! Work Needed

Hello Everyone
Can anyone help,Just been told by my employer that there is not enough work to keep me on so as from Friday 6th February will be redundant.Me and my family(wife & 3 girls aged 2,4 & 7)have only been here for 3 months and life here has been brilliant until now.
I am a skilled metal machinist 1st Class and I have over 24 years experience, but i would consider doing nearly anything within reason to keep our dream of living here alive.
We live in caloundra on the Sunshine coast but am willing to travel upto 1.5 hours away.
Please Help Us.
Thanks
A worried Father.:(:(:(

Try the temp agencies like http://www.manpower.com.au/ or http://skilled.com.au/ With a machinist background you should be able to get a reasonable work assignment.
Good luck

You might also get Financial assistance off centrelink depending on your visa situation. It will worth going to your nearest office.

Not if he's only been here 3 months. Permanent residents are not entitled to Centrelink benefits for unemployment for 2 years.
