ha ha.... because Macs never stop working, and they never crash...Isn't the power of advertising amazing....it makes us hand over more $$$ than we normally would because of a "brand label". Then we spend all our time justifying the extra $$$ with the advertising slogans!
Get a Mac if you want to feel cool and if you are the kind of person that would enjoy telling your friends "I've got a mac!".
But if you just want to do regular stuff on a computer and don't like wasting your money, get anything else !!

never been one to tell my friends what I have, nothing like the Chelsea Tractor mummys who have to have one just to say we have one. Just want something simple, good and as I said not a whizz in anything to do with computers! so nothing to fancy Thanks for all your tips.
