I heard and read all the reports on the movie but had to see it for myself and I must say I loved it.

The Australian press panned it - but they had to..

Flawed, cringeworthy - few key scenes at start especially - but we warmed to it, and most importantly enjoyed it.

Old Baz had his tongue in his cheek.

Long, boring movie with a crap actress who's facial features don't move for all the Botox and fillers. Besides, hadn't she already done the same movie with Tom Cruise? Think it was Far and Away or some such crap.

And don't get me started on the dialogue! How many frickin times did they need to say "crikey!"? I'm sure crikey wasn't even slang back then!!! And my favourite line..."Shut your damper hole". WTF?!?

Has Baz made a 'great' film yet? I think he one of the most over rated flim directors of all time.

It was the worst film I have ever seen. The acting was poor, many of the scenes were shot with cardboard pictures, there were errors in the film and the story dragged on and on.

It was so bad 3 of the 11 people in the cinema with me left before the film ended.
