Scuba Steve me dear....

I have one in my house - his name is "William". I am very very serious. I'v had a Paranormal group in my house to try and get rid of it as I'v been told there is a "Vortex" in my sons bedroom. Feels really creepy to sleep in there.

We have had weird happenings in our house which is why I called these people in - as my son was having problems sleeping as he had a frightening experience in the middle of the night! One apparently looked at him under his duvet cover and said nothing - just stared. He was in such a state!

We'v had people working on our house and even 2 of the older blokes doing plastering sensed something weird. The younger guy refused to go down into the cellar!

when I was studying in stockport, I moved into a shared house and the girls that lived there told me about wierd things that happened in the house, but to be honest I didnt really believe them. that was until one night it was just me and the boyfriend in the house and we both heared someone running up and down the stairs:unsure:
we didnt believe what we heard until later that night we heard the same running up and down the stairs but this time it continued into my bedromm:ohmy:
lets just say that I didnt live there much longer, it really shi* me up
I love anything paranormal and I am addicted to most haunted and other programmes just like it. I would love to go on an investigation. the best thing I ever did was go to the Skirrid Inn in South Wales for Halloween, some scary things happened that night and even the OH who I must add is a non believer experienced things he cant explain
it was great:thumbsup:

I have quite a few 'strange experiences'.

I worked in a pub in sheffield in the 80's (Marples) and this was haunted. Hardly surprising as it sustained a direct hit with a bomb in the 2nd world war. Most people gathered in many of the large cellars at the sound of the air raid siren and the next day they couldn't determine how many had lost their lives and certainly couldn't dig out eveyone. Apparently they poured limestone?? over what was left and a memorial plaque was put up.

The pub was rebuilt and named the same as before, and continued to serve until a few years back.

I expereinced some very strange happenings when i worked there - specially when i worked the arly bar (5.30 - 7 pm) I once poured a pint for this old bloke who after ordering went straight into the gents - so I waited for his return to take the money - only he never returned. the pub was empty - he was the first customer and he certainly didn't leave. After 15 minutes I went into the gents fearing he had been taken ill, only to find nothing. No one there at all:eek:

That was one of many experiences at the Marples

When we moved into our current house , we were laying in bed on one night and we heard footsteps come down the carpeted hallway and stop at our room door. Turns out the old couple that had the house before had slept in separate rooms. He stayed across and down the hall and that's where he died and she slept in ours. We hid our heads under the covers that night. Once we redecorated the noises stopped.:)

I was once at my OH's house, (he lived in a very old public house and there were always lots of stories about ghosts). I walked out of the kitchen and saw somebody go into the living room, I thought that it was one of the family. I went straight into the room, but there was nobody there.
A few nights later, my OH woke me up in the middle of the night in quite a panic and told me that he saw someone standing at the bottom of the bed looking over me!!:blink:

I love these stories
When I was wee we moved to Scotland and lived in a really old house, we were renting so all the old furniture was still in it. Loads of stuff happened like the rocking chair would just start rocking for no reason, the dog would jump in the air yelping like it had been kicked and growl at apparently no one. One night I was sharing a room with my wee brother for protection :( and his remote control car started wizzing round the room. I thought it was him until he showed me the battery plugged in to the wall charging

Anyway one day the priest and his dog came round to welcome us to the village and my mum asked him to come in to get rid of the ghosts. So he did !!!
We all followed him round the house while he chanted stuff and waved smoke around in a silver ball with holesin it. We were all in a nice neat row of decending hight. The priest, my mum, me and then my wee brother limping behind with the priest dog firmly attatched to his leg. (maybe it was scared ! ;) )

ooh I've got goose pimples!

A couple of days after my dad died five years ago, I was laying on my bed and I felt the bottom of the bed sag, like someone had sat down, thinking it was one of the kids, I just lay there expecting them to jump on me. A few moments past, and no one had landed on my head, so I looked round and no one was there. The kids were still downstairs with OH. Last november I went to a spiritualist church and the medium said to me that I had felt my dad!
