I'm not too sure either but all i know is that it seems as though half of ireland decends into my neighbours house and all i can hear for 3 days (if it's on the weekend) is laughing, singing and swearing!

it a right laugh to hear through the walls

First bit just means 'Happy St Paddy's Day' in Irish.

It all means people in Ireland get a day off to drink green beer and get hammered For me it means a day of being a bit homesick (despite never feeling that way the rest of the year!) and people saying 'top o the morning' to me all day at work. haha!
