Tooheys Old will hit the spot in the "Black Lager" space.

It is particulary wonderful on tap.

Not bad at all, I used to drink that all the time ... I actually prefer Coopers Best Extra Stout these days, more cost-effective than an imported brew too.

Like Corona - the beer that is only drunk by peasants in Mexico.

I hate the look of Guinness Black Lager. Looks like a really dodgy pint of stout. Anyone thats ever had one of those will know how horrible it can be the next day.

I'd have to close my eyes and say 'its just a beer, its just a beer'.

Actually surname is Rudel - Google it to find my Grandfather, Hans-Ulrich.

Well your 'Grandfather' was one Hell of a brave man.

Don't see why not. Don't take any notice of labels and names, I just like what I like. Not tried a green tin with VB on it.

I finally managed to locate some of this stuff, and it's not bad. I've never enjoyed any bottled/canned Guinness before - until this. It tastes like Guinness, only a bit lighter. Interestingly it's imported from Ireland and costs just under $50 a case.

Check it out
