Excellent Greek food required. Not some overpriced tourist spot. Local place cooked by Greeks. sort of place only the locals know. ta

There are a couple of places in Oakleigh that get very good reviews and it is just like being in Greece there on a summer's evening.

Two good ones in Williamstown - Santorini and Remvi. Williamstown is off the beaten tourist trail and in my view a much nicer setting than suburbia

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
Cant get rid of the craving since San Diego waterfront. There were about 200 people lining up and dining, for a tiny restaurant, thought it had to be good... Simple menu but amazing food.
Cant forget the spices and freshness of that food

You actually have to be careful with Greek restaurants here.... Their ilk has the worst reputation for being potential rip offs.
If your going to be stooged by a restaurant, it will be most likely in a Greek place. Never ever use one of those Group on type vouchers in one.
