Great new Aussie film

If you want to see a thoroughly enjoyable Aussie flick, I recommend The Sapphires about a quartet of aboriginal soul singers in the sixties who end up performing for the GIs in Vietnam.

No, I got two free tickets for an advance screening. It comes out in early August I think. Well worth seeing!

Apparently it got a great reception in Cannes and may become the next big Aussie film hit.

I'll watch it - Chris O'Dowd - if from my home town - not that I know him - I'm ever so slightly older:).

But interested in seeing if its like The Committments - great movie - I need to get a copy for the kids to watch - I think there old enough to watch it now.
