Re: grammer and spelling police
Apologies to all. Circumstances demanded the "full swear" for maximum effect. It will almost definitely never happen again.

Re: grammer and spelling police
now here were "you" people piss other people off imo.. you started the post of great but now you are assuming the poster is stupid and uneducated.. how do you know this? and what gives you the right to pull somebody up on a public forum about spelling on a thread that has nothing to do with spelling. should i then assume you are a rude, ill mannered spoiled brat???
Then the person would realise that it makes understanding them difficult, meaning that their point/question might not be understood.
They would then follow on to assume the easier they made themselves more easily understood, the more likely people would be to offer assistance.
I have no problem with the occasional typo, or the occasional rogue apostrophe. What I do have an issue with is people who appear to use their forehead to type and don't care.
I am an awful speller. I *just* passed my highschool English with a lot of hard work and assistance from tutors. I therefore think, if I can spend an extra few seconds checking my posts to make sure they are readable and I've got my point across, why can't others?
The worst offence for me is lack of sentences/paragraphs. If I open a thread and the first post is a whole page of text, with no breaks. I just close it again.
I (and many others) just don't reply to questions where I can't understand the post. Therefore the poster is missing out on valuable (to them) information which they would have recieved if they'd posted properly.
